Advent is the time when Christians anticipate the birth of Christ . This year, Advent begins early, just after Thanksgiving on Sunday, Nov. 29 and going through to Sunday, Dec. 20, the fourth Sunday in Avent.
Each Sunday the congregation will light a candle in our sanctuary during worship, bringing us closer and closer the Light of the World entering our lives.
Due to Covid Restrictions, however, FCC will not be open for Christmas Eve worship. Instead, we will be combining the fourth Advent candle with our celebration of the lighting of the Christ Candle.
All members of the community are welcome to join us in our celebrations.
